Once Upon a Bun: The Tale of Bunbun’s Toy Box 🐰✨

Once upon a hop in sunny New South Wales, a passionate animal lover named Sarah dreamed up a magical little store called Bunbun’s Toy Box. As a proud bunny and guinea pig mum, Sarah poured her heart into creating a place filled with wholesome treats and playful surprises for the littlest, furriest members of the family.

But as life sometimes writes unexpected chapters, Sarah had to make the tough decision to pass on her beloved creation. And that’s where we hop in!

Hi, I’m Esther – your new friendly face behind the scenes (and sometimes covered in hay). A self-confessed “crazy bunny lady” (and proud of it!) from Victoria. I’ve always had a soft spot for long ears, twitchy noses, fluffy bums and the joyful thumps of happy paws. Taking the reins of Bunbun’s Toy Box wasn’t just a business move – it was a heart decision. I wanted to carry on the love, care, and dedication that Sarah started, while adding a little bit of my own sparkle to it.

And I’m not running this business alone...

Meet our CEO – Oreo, a wise, sassy, and slightly spoiled 10-year-old bunny CEO. With a decade of expert taste-testing under her belt (or rather, his fluff), Oreo makes sure only the best, healthiest, and most delicious treats make it onto our shelves. If it doesn’t pass her sniff test? It’s out! Oreo is the real boss around here, and we like to think of her as our Chief Happiness Officer, too.

At Bunbun’s Toy Box, every treat is handpicked with love, tested by Oreo, and designed to bring joy, enrichment, and a little extra binkying into your bunny or piggy’s day. Because we know what it’s like to love a little fluffball like family. Whether you're new to the world of rabbits and guinea pigs, or a long-time pawrent, we’re so happy you’ve hopped into our world.

Frequently Asked Questions

A: 🌿 Our treats are made without preservatives, so we recommend using them by the expiry date on the label (usually 4–6 months if stored correctly). Once received, keep them in an airtight container in a cool, dry place to keep them fresh and crunchy.

A: 🐰 Every treat is handmade with love in our commercial warehouse in Vermont, Victoria. We use only fresh, bunny- and piggy-safe ingredients, carefully dehydrated to lock in flavour and nutrition.

A: 🚚 Yes! We offer free delivery on all orders over $100. For orders below $100, the shipping fee is $10 for Standard and $15 for Express.

A: 🚗 Not at the moment, but we plan to offer this service soon – stay tuned!

A: 📦 At the moment, we ship Australia-wide only. We’re hoping to hop overseas in the future – so stay tuned!

A: 🥕 Because our treats are handmade, they may vary a little in shape, size, and colour (especially when we use seasonal fruits and veggies). But don’t worry – they’ll always have the same yummy taste and quality your bun will adore!

A: 🐹 Yes! All of our treats are suitable for both rabbits and guinea pigs. If there are any exceptions, they’ll be clearly noted in the product description.
